BargeOps Onboard

Boat Fleet Management Software

BargeOps Onboard Overview

BargeOps Onboard enables automatic and seamless exchange of information, such as orders and the movement of barges, between shore based dispatch and the boats. It is a fully integrated boat-based module for traffic management that streamlines communications.

For companies without BargeOps, the dispatcher is often calling orders to the boat on the radio. The boat captain spends time copying down what they did on a spreadsheet which then gets sent back to shore where it’s manually turned into an invoice.

Using BargeOps Onboard, when dispatch gets an order, they can easily input it into BargeOps which sends instructions out to the boats for execution. The boat can handle that order within their daily work, and information about that order will go back to the shore from the boat automatically. As the boat captains manage their activities through the system, it keeps a complete electronic deck log. This exchange of information between the boats and the shore keeps the entire team on the same page and working efficiently.

BargeOps Onboard also allows you to keep track of your crew changes: who’s on watch, who’s not on watch, who’s the captain, and it automates the recording of information that’s needed into the deck logs.

BargeOps Onboard drag and drop Fleet Picture makes it easy to keep track of barges.
