BargeOps 4.2

Sometimes the most important changes are the ones you can’t see. In our newest version, BargeOps 4.2 released March 31, 2016, we upgraded the underlying technology to the latest available. What does this mean for you? It demonstrates that the BargeOps Team is committed to keeping the application up to date. BargeOps will be there for your business for the long haul.

Interested in the details? We upgraded to the latest version of the Microsoft Visual Studio development tools and .NET Framework. We have also added support for reports to use Microsoft SSRS technology. We will gradually phase out Crystal reports in future releases.

Besides these infrastructure upgrades, we made numerous minor enhancements, including Onshore usability improvements. For your A/P team, reconciling vendor bills is easier than ever. Dispatchers will appreciate the updates to the Shift Planner. We also improved support on the BargeOps Portal website for vendors and Tramp Towing customers.

We’re working on some great new features to the application look and feel that we think will enhance usability. And we’ve got some cool features coming soon to add more power to the data grids and tables in the application.
